Evan Brownstein - Partner/Chief Creative Officer

In the branding jungle, Evan has created and communicated for Enterprise Rent-A-Car, Bacardi, Purina, NestlĂ©, Claritin, American Express, The Tribeca Film Festival, NASCAR, Tumi, The Financial Times, Liz Claiborne, Dollar Thrifty Automotive Group, Davidoff, OttLite Technologies, and Renaissance Resorts and Hotels, among others.

He has experience as a Copywriter, Creative Director, and Strategic Planner at several IPG, WPP, and independent advertising agencies. 

Well before everyone began talking and Tweeting about engagement and branded content, Evan made brand communications part of the conversation rather than a speech from a pulpit.

While a Creative Director at Avrett Free & Ginsberg, Evan founded his own production company and produced theatrically released independent films starring Rosario Dawson (Descent and This Revolution), James Earl Jones (Grim Prairie Tales), and Vincent D'Onofrio (Good Luck). In 2006, he helped create a TV series for HGTV starring Todd Oldham.

Evan's B.A. is from Swarthmore College and he studied for his M.F.A. in Film at Columbia University, where Terry Southern taught him what he tries to practice today: When you work with great people and tell a great story, you can do great things.

Tim Bogardus - Director of Design

Tim brings over 25 years of experience in building visual communications for national and international brands to the jungle.  Tim has swung with small agencies and large including a 12-year stint at WestWayne (22squared) in Tampa, Florida.  

As Vice President/Director of Design Services at WestWayne, Tim developed branding for the likes of Publix Supermarkets, Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines International, Outback Steakhouse, RJReynolds and Independent Life Insurance.

Prior to becoming a Bright Monkey, Tim spent nearly 10 years running his own design firm, where he applied his experience and design sense to a number of growing companies.   He earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Visual Communications from Florida State University, but still receives schooling from his 5 yr old son Lee, who can draw dragons that would make Picasso weep.
